Total 4 U; SIDCO Chandramathi under Custody


Thiruvananthapuram, 2009 March 28,Saturday : SIDCO Chandramathi, the third accused in the Rs 220 crore Total4U cheating case has been remanded in judicial custody till April 8th. The trivandrum first class chief judicial magistrate court had remanded her.

A request by crime branch seeking her in custody for detailed interrogation would be submitted before the cort on monday 3oth.

Chandramathi a former employee of SIDCO emporium, surrendered before Crime Branch on Thursday. But the Crime Branch officials said, as per the intelligence report they were informed that chandramathi is in Nedumangad. They arrested her then. Officials also said they can't give the more details on the case.
Then she has been bought to the Crime Branch office at Jawahar Nagar. Wednesday the Supreme Court had rejected the anticipatory bail of Chandramathi and another accused Dr.Ramani.

The suspect was working as Assistant Manager at the Small Industries Development Corporation (SIDCO), a State government undertaking. The SIDCO later suspended her.
Chandramathi who was a member of the Censor Board and had used her relation with the high class people of state capital to invest in Total 4 u. Crime branch suspect Chandraathi for a fraud of Rs.20crore.

At first she was the financial consultant of sabarinath the key accused in the case. When Sabarinath move towards Hemalatha and her daughter Lakshmi, Chandramathi withdraw her support and starts another investment company named "SAFE". And she invites all the investors towards SAFE. That results the end of Total 4 U.
