IFFK 2009:Press Mentorship Programme for media students

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chalachithra Academy as part of the IFFK 2009 conducts a press mentorship programme for media students across the state. 50 students will get the entry for the programme. The aim of the programme is to give awareness on writing related to films and also to enrich their ability to analyze the films. Famous directors, film reviewers and media persons will take part in the programme. The programme will conduct in two phases. The first phase is on November 27^th and 28^th at Trivandrum. After two days practice in the Academy 25 students will short listed for the continuous practice conducting during IFFK days. The students also get practices in writing in festival daily bulletin, IFFK website etc. Students whom wished for the press mentorship programme can apply with their request letter, bio-data and a write-up on ‘THE MOVIE WHICH INFLUENCED ME MOSTLY’ (not exceeding two pages) to the address Secretary, Kerala State Chalachithra Academy, Manibhavan, Sasthamangalam, Thiruvananthapuram-1 before November-15^th.
