Thiruvananthapuram: On Monday 17th August 2009 in the day of
Chinga maasam 1st Kerala have got three new ministers Kerala Congress leader P J Joseph, Congress (S) leader Ramachandran Kadannappally and Jose Thettayil of Janata Dal-S (Gowda group). All the three were sworn in as Ministers of the LDF ministry at 11.30 a m on 17thin front of the GovernorRS Gavai and in the presence of ministers opposition leaders, party members etc.. PJ Joseph retained his old portfolio Public Works Department, and the debut faces Kadanapally Ramachandran and Jose Thettayil were given Devasom, Printing and Publishing and Transport Ministry respectively. With the induction of the new Ministers, the LDF ministry now has 20 members.
