Manjeri: Congress party general secretary Rajmohan Unnithan, was suspended from the party as part of the investigation against him in the allegation of immoral trafficking. N P Moitheen of the party will investigate on the incident. Unnithan have got bail on Monday 21st , a day after he was held on charges of immoral trafficking for being found in the company of a woman under suspicious circumstances. Unnithan and the woman, who is said to be a former Seva Dal worker, were first caught by locals 20th Sunday night at a house in Manjeri in northern Kerala's Malappuram district. The woman hails from Kollam, Unnithan's hometown.
At the same time Unnithan welcomed the investigation against him as he said it was to make the face of the party clear. He also alleged that the 'immoral trafficking' incident was planned by the PDP and CPM leaders of Manjeri region.
