Thiruvananthapuram: The KPCC executive on Friday 7th August decided not to readmit the former congress member and leader K Karunakaran's son K Muraleedharan to the Congress. But the KPCC lights a green signal towards Janata Dal (Secular) leadership to hold further talks about its entry intoUDF.
The two decisions will soon informed to the party high command. After the executive committee KPCC President Ramesh Chennithala had told reporters that the executive committee felt that readmitting Mr. Muraleedharan would not give any help to the party. The decision however is a NO ENTRY board for Muraleedharan. Later he said reporters that KPCCs decision was sad but he will never left the hope to join Congress. muraleedharan had been suspended from the party for six years. But as per the KPCC he had continued his anti-party activities to undermine the Congress especially during the election. Chennithala also said that for KPCC welcoming Murali was a closed chapter.
Later K Karunakaran made a reaction to the KPCC president’s announcement saying that the executive committee had not taken a unanimous decision against Mr. Muraleedharan’s re-entry.
If he was a true c0ngress man he wouldn't have helped other parties in the elections to win against the UDF in kerala. Mainly in the panchayat/municipality elections. He was involved in open word fights with other congress leaders, but that is common in kerala politics. But the thing is if the KPCC let all the other leaders and the workers who left with Mr.Murali who worked with him and helped him make the DIC(K) and later moved to NCP ,come back to Congress, why can't he? Is it like Chennithala and Chandy afraid of Murali, who will always give them head aches? But for me, Murali who for the last 3,4 yearz was a true Anti- c0ngress man does not deserve to be a member of Congress. Some of the oldest and eldest leaders in the Congress is against his return to congress. Mr. T.H Musthafa openly said in the talk show on some channel , i think on Indiavision that if the high command put pressure on the Kpcc and if they decide to pick Murali back then he will conduct a 'SATHYAGRAHA' infront of the secretariat .
