New Delhi: Noted Malayali writer U A Khader has won this year's Kendra Sahitya Academy Award for his novel 'Thrikkottoor peruma '.
Khader, with his exceptional style and unique depiction, established a distinct place in Malayalam literature especially during the modern era. He won many prestigious awards, including Kerala Sahitya academy award.
He is the state president of Purogamana Kala Sahithya Sangham. Khader was the member of Kerala Sahitya academy, Kerala Lalitha Kala Academy and Sahitya Pravarthaka sangham and his works were translated to Tamil, kannada, Hindi and English.
Aghorasivam, Kalimuttam, Krishnamaniyile theenalamn kadha pole Jeevitham are some of his famous works.
