nthapuram:25th wednesday, February, 2010: As the mobile usage in schools emerging as a startling threat, Education department decided to set up a special squad to search for the the use of mobile phones inside schools. The squad having members from teachers and students community and also representation from the PTA. Education ministry strictly ordered to the managers of all Govt. and non-govt. schools to set up the squad within one month. This sudden action is followed by the death of a plus two girl in Thaliparambu, Kannur, after her photos spread through mobile phone and internet, last month. In fact mobile phones are already banned in schools in Kerala.
