Trivandrum: Final list of Malayalam movies scheduled for
screening in 17th International Film Festival of Kerala has been approved by
the Chalachithra Academy. There is two Malayalam films in the competition
section and seven in Malayalam Cinema today-Academy chairman and director
S.Priyadarshan said.
Bhoomiyude Avakaashikal directed by T.V.chandran and Shutter
directed Joy Mathew are the movies in competition section. Aakashathinte
niram(Dr.Biju), Ee adutha kaalath (Arun Aravindh), Indian Rupee (Renjith), Ithra
Maathram(K.Gopinath), Ozhimuri (Madhupal), Chaayilyam(Madhu kaala), Friday
(Lijin Jose) etc are scheduled for malayalam cinema today section. All nine
movies were selected by jurie comprised of Director Sibi Malayil as Chairmana
and P.P.Govindan, Madhu Kaithapram, M.F.Thomas, George Mathew, Bhavaani
Cheerath as members.
