IFFK 2012 movies preview starts

Trivandrum: For the first time in the history of IFFK, the selection committee for this year got a chance to view all the movies in a preview theater. The theater has been set up from the ministerial level, as cultural minister K.B.Ganeshkumar took a special interest in the matter . In the previous years selection committee members watch the movies on a TV screen and made their decision. For this year one of the rooms in Kerala Chalachithra Academy's office at Sasthamangalam transformed into a small preview theater having all modern facilities. And it took just two months to complete the 'room to theater conversion' procedure. 
Selection committee started viewing movies here. From 200 and more film entries from all over the world the committee will select the good ones for screening in IFFK 2012-it will take one week to complete the selection.  List of Malayalam movies already released. There is nearly 85 foreign films and around 80 Indian language movies are waiting for the entry into IFFK 2012. 
Selection committee includes Directors Sibi Malayil, Roshan Andrews, V.Rajakrishnan, Harikumar and film critique M.F.Thomas.
