Nine Indian movies in IFFK 2012


Trivandrum: Nine Indian films have been selected for the 16th International Film Festival of kerala (IFFK 2012) to be conducted from December 7 to 14 in Trivandrum. The films selected to the competition section are ID directed by K.M.Kamal and Filmisthan directed by Nithin Kakkaar. Seven other movies are selected for the 'Indian Cinema Today' section. Other movies and the directors are given below:
Chithrangadha -  Rithuparna Khosh
Cosmic Sex- Amithabh Chakraborthy
Samhitha- directed together by Sumithra Bhave and Sunil Sukthanger
Shabdo- Kaushik Ganguly (Bengali)
Nandigram Chokar Paani-Sarfaras Alam Syamal karmakar
Cheeka-Adeya Partharajan
Waves of silence- Janu Barua
All nine movies were selected by the jury comprising of director Sibi Malayil, P.P.Govindan, Madhu Kaithapram, M.F.Thomas, George Mathew and Bhavani Cheerath.
